I am a visual artist born and raised in Chicago. I enjoy making humorous work in a number of mediums including collage, painting, and printmaking. I draw most of my inspiration from pop culture and often find myself employing unconventional methods in my creative process. I am largely self taught with supplemental instruction in printmaking and sculpture. My work has been displayed in galleries, art fairs and DIY art spaces around the city.
My work uses pop culture and accessible imagery as means to engage its viewers. It is in that instantaneous understanding that a conversation about creativity and cultural commonality exist. That pairing is exciting to me because of its contradictions as well as existential truths.
